As my mom drove me through the night across the desert - having lost every material thing to my name, and my future totally unknown, Hillsong’s, A Billion Times played on my little iPhone speaker (the moving van didn't have a stereo).
Just as I sang the these lyrics, a bright burning fireball (meteor) fell from the sky.
Every burning star
A signal fire of grace
If creation sings Your praises so will I
Zero exaggeration. A bright fire-burning meteor fell from of the sky in front of our eyes as those lyrics played.
His grace and love had left me in awe of Him once again - and He was signaling that my season was about to change. The next day I received a phone call for a job in company where I'd never sent a resume, and it would turn out to be my dream job. I couldn't have imagined the level of perfect-ness of it.
The fireball was so close that for a second we debated getting out the car to find it in the desert. However I was in middle of a dark night and nefarious-looking desert.
But it doesn't there, a year later I'm on a tiny island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The island was almost completely empty because it both off season and a hurricane was set to hit in a 2 days. Taking advantage of the solitude, I went out onto the beach in the middle of the night under the black, starry sky and sang & danced around the beach to A Billion Times. As it was ending, I said, "Father let this be our song!" And almost simultaneously, shooting stars began dancing across the sky.
And it doesn't there, several more times while walking home in the dark evening, I'd look up and send a shout of praise out to Yeshua HaMashiach, and a shooting would streak across sky above me.
And then! One evening in November (2019), as I walked home from work, I felt so full of His love and was humming along to some praise music - when for some reason I looked up at the sky and the biggest unicorn rainbow-colored fireball/meteor went streaking across it for at least 5 seconds! The Holy Spirit said to me, "that's for you, and the season is changing again!" I was bursting and the guy next to me on the sidewalk saw it and did a little laughing-jump-shout of "wooooah!" Like we couldn't believe we had just witnessed something that incredible. That was in the middle of NYC - but apparently noone, no camera, no helicopter, noone else saw it but me and the guy next to me on the sidewalk. The Holy Spirit really meant, "that's for you." When I wrote it down in my journal, I saw that it was exactly 2 years later to the day from the first blazing fireball.
